We are Mad Kro and Chris Kro

the married duo behind Electric Moon Press! As professional designers, artists, and illustrators, we bring you the highest quality prints of well known and off-the-beaten-path hikes and landmarks unique to the United States. As longtime hikers ourselves, we have a passion for encouraging people to get outside, learn & love their backyard, and live by the motto “leave it better than you found it.”

for the outdoors is only matched by our passion for making. Mad’s background is in Printmaking, Book Arts, and User Experience / User Interface Design. Chris’s background is in Illustration, Product Design, and Industrial Design.

In 2022

we realized we wanted to see more of the country, decided to gut our 2015 Ford Transit, designed a working interior for two, and rebuild it with the help of friends and family. It was the adventure that began with a sketch on a napkin, continued with a month-long multi-state roadtrip (and elopement!), and keeps inspiring us to travel!
